Description

Just a simple Ducky... Nothing that can match the level of *Beesknees67:iconbeesknees67: 's ducky pieces, but I think this has a charm of it's own.

Also, if I aren't too lazy, this should be the mid-piece of a triptych :D

Second part:

Do check out *heavenriver's part of the collab:

This piece has long been in my favorites, and I guess I'm glad that I now can critique it. The palette selection is spot on in reflecting "stress relief," and the shapes do justice to the title as well. Something about the colors seems to keep my eyes drawn towards this piece; it could be the purple/green/yellow mix that caught my attention.

I honestly don't know what to make of the title you picked. I feel that the piece focuses more on "stress" than the actual "Stress Relief" concept. The yellow and red colors near the top certainly add an angry and active atmosphere, inductive of stress, while the bottom of the fractal reveals a precarious balance of purples and greens that seem to calm down the energy and tension of the image. I can't quite place the white portion, however, and this is where the title and the content clash to me. The white is too overpowering, too sharp and sudden in the midst of the section that is supposed to be calming and devoid of stress. It appears to aid the oranges and yellows in exhibiting "stress" than to instill the idea of "stress relief."

Regardless of how I view your piece's title, the complexity of the gradients and beautiful detail in the fractal show off the skill and effort you put into making this work. I am especially impressed by the purple/green/yellow interlacing, as those colors don't always play nicely with each other. You combined them in a way to indicate a somewhat sickening and stressful feeling, but you didn't make it so powerful that it overwhelms the viewer.

I suppose there's not much more I have to say. I'd love one of these hanging on my wall sometime xD Nice job dude, your work never ceases to amaze and inspire me.
